Celebrating Our Own On Flag Day

Hard work & determination paid off for one of our housekeeping staff, ShaPee. ShaPee was born in Thailand, and grew up in a refugee camp. Before coming to the United States, she had 5 children, now ages 5-17 years old. After learning the ability to understand the basic knowledge of the English language, U.S. History, government, civic principles & ideals of the U.S. Constitution, ShaPee became a citizen of the United States of America. We recently honored ShaPee for passing the United States Citizenship exam, with a very patriotic celebration on Flag Day, the day before being sworn in as a United States of America citizen as this will be a day she will never forget! ShaPee enjoys fishing (& cooking them!), going to church with family and cleaning. She is a strong member of the team and we are very proud of her accomplishments!
