The Good Life at Carolina Bay

As I sit in this beautiful courtyard and eat my apple for lunch, small yellow leaves are drifting down from the Elm trees and scattering along the ground. Surely this a clear sign that Fall has arrived at Carolina Bay. The hot, humid summer has slowly given way to warm days and cooler nights. Before we know it, the richly colored landscape will soon usher in the season of giving thanks. Autumn isn’t just a time of beauty taking place outside our windows. It is also a glorious season in our lives when we can harvest and enjoy the bounty of all our hard work during the spring and summer of our working life. So be sure to embrace these days to the fullest—you have earned them! New residents are moving in at a steady pace, and the character of Carolina Bay continues to define itself with each new program, activity, and party. Our staff has also matured with new people and expanded job responsibilities for all of us. We are so blessed to be in this convenient location and in the comfort of our beautiful home. It is a pleasure to be part of a wonderful community dedicated to making our new residents feel part of the warm and accepting environment that is Carolina Bay at Autumn Hall. -Joe Soto, Executive Director
